Projektbeschreibung:

From a legal point of view, there is a discussion about concepts of causality based on probabilistic theory. Epidemiology provides probabilistic measures of association between environment and disease frequencies which are quantified by statistics. This project creates a link between concepts of epidemiology and decision-making for social legal provision. Epidemiologic measures and concepts like risk, attributable risk, probabilty of causation and doubling dose are the main focus. The aim is the provision of a more comprehensible representation and an assessment of epidemiologic concepts for the practice in occupational safety and health.
